A proposed thin-shell structure that relentlessly meshes sawtooth catenary arches into a discontinuous canopy. Voids created by the sawteeth, which alternate from side to side, cast opposing spots of light with the time of day.

The entirety of the hall’s plan steps down into the site, which has been excavated to form a basin. A central runway divides the hall longitudinally and creates eating space removed from the market below.
