Kurtis Chen

I'm a designer and filmmaker who's led countless projects and teams, including an award winning content agency.

I've designed brands, websites, packaging, and user interfaces for national quick service restaurants, heavy industry, consumer packaged goods, health and agriculture. I previously founded a content and design agency that won a Cannes Young Lion, a bronze Marketing Mag award, and two Junos in its first three years of existing.

In 2017, I worked as a filmmaker at Idea Couture, a global innovation consultancy, where I had the pleasure of working directly with C-Suite executives in Toronto, New York and San Francisco.

In 2018, I found something (actually, lots of things) I liked in architecture, and started my Master of Architecture at UofT.

Visual communicator & change agent.

As a filmmaker, brand maker and student of architecture, I have constantly found myself at the junction of transformation, disruption and conversation. Talking about the future gets me excited; delivering that future into the everyday is my obsession.
